Usually I pick up at least one bathing suit every summer and this year I decided to try ordering through Solid & Striped during their July 4th sale. I ordered this one piece and the Morgan bikini (here), after seeing it on Hilary Rhoda, who has recently designed a capsule collection with her boyfriend Sean Avery (here). I fell in love with the vintage vibe with large stripes in classic colours and a low back.  The pictures where these are taken is at a property my partner and I recently purchased and are currently renovating the cabin that is on it. I can't wait to show you before and after pictures once it's all finished, thank you Ikea!

BACK TO THE BASICS

Mules are definitely one of my favourite shoes for summer. They are casual, easy to wear and go with everything. You can find so many different options right now pretty much everywhere, with a heel or flat and in so many different colours. I like the combination of the black leather and brown stacked heel like these ones I picked up last year at Browns Shoes. Have a good weekend everyone!

THROWBACK TO SUMMER

The weather was starting to get a little bit warmer up until two days ago..So I thought I would throwback to warmer temperatures, can hardly wait!

OTK BOOTS + HM BLOUSE

My favourite boots are these over the knee Stuart Weitzmans 'Hitest' in black suede. They add a streamlined look to any outfit and you can pretty much wear them with anything. I also love this blouse I just got from H&M that kind of has a Celine vibe with the colour combination. I can't find it online anymore, but it's still available in stores.

No one can deny the return of the 'mom jean' and in my opinion, it doesn't get better than a pair of vintage Levis. It can be hard to find that perfect fitting pair of 501s, so I'm excited for the collaboration of Levis and Net-a-Porter who will be releasing an updated version of the classic jean. They will be available on March 2nd and will come in three different washes!

This weeks wish list balances the masculine raw denim jeans with more feminine pieces like a scarf, fur coat, and gold delicate watch. I am in love with these boots from acne and the 70s inspired feel of this overall look.

The small town where I grew up, consisting of about fifty people, holds a folk festival every year where thousands of people come listen to good music and camp for a weekend. This year the weather wasn't ideal but that didn't stop anyone from dancing and having a great time!
